Generation Z grew up in the era of online multiplayer games, and you would think that these games would define our preferences. It is something like a unique personal story that you can live alone, without thinking about how others will evaluate your performance. The example of The Witcher 3 is one of the brightest. This game is not just sword fighters, it is an entire world filled with characters, choices and consequences. In it, you become a part of the story. Horizon Zero Dawn is also a great immersive experience. And that's probably one of the reasons why, despite the popularity of multiplayer, we keep coming back to single-player games. They give us the opportunity to escape into our own world, where there is no pressure from other players, and you can fully immerse yourself in the story.

I also think that despite the obvious popularity of multiplayer games, single-player games still have their own unique appeal. We, Generation Z, are used to fast-paced content, constant social interactions, but single-player games allow us to escape from that and truly immerse ourselves in other worlds. Honestly, sometimes you just want to take a break from social media and communication and experience something alone.
