C&P Garage is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans with navigating the VA system and paperwork for claims. We understand the unique challenges veterans face, and we are here to offer our support and assistance. Our goal is to provide veterans with the resources, knowledge, and guidance they need to successfully navigate the VA system.
We are a small team of volunteers that includes veterans and family members who are committed to helping those who have served our country. We are here to make a difference in the lives of veterans.

CARLOS AND PATTI WERE WORKED AS VSO'S FOR THE DAV AND VFW. THE TRAINING WE WERE GIVEN WAS BY THE REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE VFW AND DAV.
THERE ARE 2 OF US THAT DO ALL THE CLAIMS. WE ARE GETTING MORE VOLUNTEERS THAT WILL BE ABLE TO HELP US.
WE SEE ABOUT 40 VETERANS A DAY IN THE OFFICE, TUESDAY THRU FRIDAY, BUT WE ALSO HELP VETERANS OUT OF STATE AND OUT OF COUNTRY.
WE WILL HELP YOU AS MUCH AS WE CAN, WE ARE ASKING THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO WORK WITH US TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO GET THE BENEFITS THAT YOU DESERVE

DEPENDENCY AND INDEMNITY COMPENSATION
VA Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (VA DIC)
You may be eligible for VA benefits or compensation if you meet these requirements.
One of these must be true:
​
- You lived with the Veteran or service member without a break until their death, or
-If you’re separated, you weren’t at fault for the separation
And one of these must be true:
-You married the Veteran or service member within 15 years of their discharge from the period of military service during which the qualifying illness or injury started or got worse, or
-You were married to the Veteran or service member for at least 1 year, or
-You had a child with the Veteran or service member

Note: If you remarried, you can receive or continue to receive compensation if one of these describes you:
-You remarried on or after December 16, 2003, and you were 57 years of age or older at the time you remarried, or
-You remarried on or after January 5, 2021, and you were 55 years of age or older at the time you remarried
